Straight/drop, idler/braked, tube/spindle requirement, and buyer-approved capacity.
Hub face and spring center
Dimensions, tolerances, camber orientation, overhang, and clearance limits.
Suspension
Leaf spring/torsion, brackets, spring dimensions, hangers, equalizer, hardware, and finish.
Mounting interfaces
Frame attachment, bracket position, welding restrictions, orientation, and installation controls.
Hub, brakes, and evidence
Hub and bolt pattern
Stud count/circle, pilot, stud size, bearings, seal, grease/oil, cap, and wheel interface.
Brake system
Electric/hydraulic, size, voltage, parking feature, backing plate, drum/rotor, and controller assumptions.
Performance and documents
Buyer-required tests, markings, traceability, material records, inspection, and approval package.
Packaging and service parts
Pallet/rack, corrosion protection, labels, replacement parts, warranty, and field support.
Approval cautions
- The vehicle manufacturer is responsible for approving ratings, integration, installation, and the certified vehicle.
- Dimensions, bearings, brakes, suspension, and wheel interface must be reviewed as a system.
- Final evidence and test requirements are agreed for the specific program before production.
